Its tough when you are in Washington DC to figure out where the National Park Service property ends, and where the city begins. The kids and I traveled to Washington DC to attend my nephew's wedding, and it was awesome! The kids had been in DC before, but not since they were very little, so this time, seeing it with the eyes of adults, was much different!

We spent time on the mall, visiting the Smithsonian Museums, the Washington Monument, the WWII monument, and were lucky enough to see the cherry blossoms in full bloom. One thing that was great about this trip was that 6 of my siblings, some of my brother in laws, and about 20 of my nieces and nephews were also in town, and we did a lot of things together on the mall - sometimes running into each other without planning it!
