After visiting the Congaree National Park, I went north to the Cowpens National Battlefield. This was the second Revolutionary War Battlefield in two days. At this location, the Visitor Center had a movie that described the battle. The movie was 18 minutes long, which was the same length as the battle. As with the other battle field, the Revolutionaries won at this location too.

Outside, I took the hike around the battlefield. It was only a mile long, but after the movie, and with the interpretive signs that were outside, it was easy to get a sense of where each side was lined up, and how the battle progressed. It was warm and sunny, so the walk was great.
