South Dakota - Wind Cave National Park
Angee is on a quest to visit EVERY National Park in the United States, so since we were so close to Wind Cave, we took a little detour to there. It was not on my radar, and is really a very interesting place. On the surface, the park looks like a midwestern plain. Because it is. There are buffalo roaming, and it has rolling hills. However, the interesting part is under the surface, there is a huge cave system here. Since we were here, we toured the cave. We had to wait a bit to take the tour, so we also did a hike "up top". Angee stumbled across a full skeleton of some sort of animal.
