Wyoming - Bridger Teton National Forest

We arrived at the Jackson Hole ski resort late, and everything was VERY dark, we couldn't see anything that was around us. We stayed at the Hostel at the ski hill, and settled in. In the morning, it was really cool to walk outside and see the mountains! Very beautiful!. Our plan was to take the tram to the top of the mountain, look around, then head out to the Grand Teton National Park, and continue north to camp for the night in Yellowstone.

We started out that way... we went up the tram to the top of the mountain, and saw the beautiful views. Then, we saw a few people para-gliding off the mountain, and Angee and Matt were intent on doing it as well!!! We went down to find out how to do it, but by that time, they weren't taking any more people, so if we wanted to do it, we would have to stay another night and go in the morning.

So thats what we did.

We took the afternoon and went to the Grand Teton National Park, and explored downtown Jackson Hole, then stayed another night at the Hostel. In the morning, we went up the tram again, then JUMPED OFF THE MOUNTAIN!!!!

It was AWESOME! We jumped off at about 10,600 feet, and landed at about 6600 feet in elevation. The ride was WAY smoother than I thought it would be, and it was so worth the extra night and the cost of the experience!
